Under the microscope

“A unique experience ”
5 Points of 5

We stayed in this wonderful boutique hotel just for a couple of days - and those were two days of pure delight! Rooms are cozy and well decorated, each one having a geographical theme interior. Ours was Hamburg)) we also checked China and Moskau - excellent taste and style. Secondly, the hotel restaurant is truly a masterpiece. Even if you're a veggie, get yourself an excuse for one dinner, and try one of their exquisite steaks, cut live right in front of your table. And last, but not least - there is a Gin Bar which caters 95 brands of gin from all over the world! From classic to fruity, light or heavy, dry or sweet - I never even thought of enjoying gin and tonic so much))) so, to sum up - if you're looking for a special (and romantic) getaway, you should visit this hotel!

Very nice hotel, with great rooms, friendly staff and an amazing range of things to eat for breakfast. We had a great night there and would recommend the place to anyone visiting this town in the future.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recently renovated rooms are great. Each room is named after a city or country and decorated in keeping with the theme. Great breakfast buffet as well. Attached to Stollen 1930 bar which has 800 plus varieties of Gin, located in a cave at the foot of Kufstein Castle. As mentioned by other reviewers, the restaurant is very good, excellent steaks. Would recommend this hotel highly.
Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the river have a great view of the mountains

This is really a great place. Hotel is traditional and quaint. Rooms are clean and functional with traditional features and decor. The restaurant really is superb. Great menu and quality. This is one of the best meals I've had while travelling on business. Bar area as really amazing for the environment and well stocked cocktail bar.
Would recommend and I hope to return some day.

Charming Hotel and Excellent Austrian Cuisine
We spent our last night of a 7-day bike ride at the Auracher Loechl. It is a very nice hotel in the historic town center of Kufstein. We especially enjoyed our dinner at the inn and wine tavern. The food was delicious and the atmosphere wonderful. Our waiter Fabian S. was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and spoke English very well. This was our third time visiting the restaurant and we will definitely come back in the future. The breakfast at the hotel was well above our expectations! It was a real treat. Quite a spread!
The ambiance of this hotel and it's location personifies the virtues of Tyrol. It just couldn't be any better than it is! We had a wonderful stay here. The staff is so helpful and the breakfast is outstanding.
Room Tip: Room 30 has a beautiful view of the altstadt. There was no problems with noise at night.
My bf booked this hotel as part of our driving trip from Germany-Austria and Switzerland. It was a shame we got there just before 10pm as we missed the restaurant.

We had to head to the restaurant to pick up the key, the young lady was really friendly and showed us to our room.

Very spacious, lots of informative signs and a family leaflet about who is who in the business.

My bf ran out to get a oriental take away, first time in my life to get rice in foil but super tasty.

Breakfast was great a bit of everything. Only thing was that there was no toaster or hot food.

A must place to stay
TIP: If there is no parking near the river, make sure you go to the correct car park as it is a small town (my bf ended up in the wrong car park doh!)
We stayed for two nights in July. We know very little German.
Location is in the main tourist alley of Kufstein and right on the river, which was great for going on a nice run in the morning. It was perfectly situated for seeing the entire town. Accommodations we quaint and cozy, staff was very friendly and were excellent working with our lack of German. Brunch was a very nice spread. We also had lunch and dinner at the hotel, both food and service were very consistently good.
hotel is clean, well situated in Kufstein downtown in the old town . The area is quiet, no noise at all. there is a good wifi connection, the hotel is situated near the river inn, which brings a lot of charm to it.

We visited here for one night in April 2013. Our room was riverside and the view was wonderful.
Everything about this Hotel and town was great. Great service, wonderful staff, outstanding food.
We had a steak dinner that night and it was well worth the money. We will come here again some time!

Superb hotel very clean & great location. Great breakfasts. Food in their restaurant opposite is superb. Can't fault this hotel. Would request rooms with river facing views as quiter than opposite side. Even in mid May, very noisy. Free wifi in rooms/hotel. Limited parking & car park is not easy to find, if you need to access it from behind the hotel. All staff brilliant. If visiting kufstein for walking trip, pls note KaiserTal lift is not open (under renovation) and no way of accessing the Kaiser mountain from Kufstein. You'll have to venture up on foot or drive to Walchsee and take the 4 man chair, this is located by the summer "rodlebahn". Great hotel with traditional Austrian hospitality. Will return again, but hopefully before another 27 yrs go by.

A real attention to detail on keeping guests happy. Comfy, quite room, very clean, nice lobby, great breakfasts, historic location. Only rated sleep quality lower due to very firm mattress (hard for us, but maybe you'd be fine). If you're in Kufstein, can't imagine you'd want to stay anywhere else.
