Biketours through Kufstein

Who climbs with toil, wheresoe'er, Shall find wings waiting there. (Henry Charles Beeching)
Start pedalling and cycle away: over hill and dale up into the mountains or quite gently along the changing scenery of the network of cycle tracks.

„Kaiser“ Round (Distance: approximately 96 km - at any time exit and turn possibilities, easy)

Soon after Kufstein, on the way to „Walchsee“, you can see the rugged peaks of the „Kaisergebirge“. Continue through „Kössen“ and along the brook to „St. Johann in Tirol“, always on main traffic routes. On side roads you cycle towards „Oberndorf“ and at „Reith“ to the „Schwarzsee“. At „Brixental“ it is first slightly hilly but soon you get downhill to „Westendorf“. Then it goes to „Hopfgarten“ and on back roads and bike paths via „Wörgl“ back to the starting point.

Around the Thierberg (travel time: 1 hour, distance about 6 km, easy)

From Kufstein you drive along the river and then follow the way towards the mountain lake „Hechtsee“ above Kufstein. At „Sonneck“ it goes through a short sliding distance left to the „Gut Aigen“. Then it goes directly to the „Gasthaus Neuhaus“. From „Neuhaus“ then you cross the asphalt road through the „Bärental“ back down to Kufstein.

The „ Innbikepath“ starts at „Innsbruck“, runs through the holiday region Kufstein - right past our sunny terrace at our „Café Donau“ - and goes on to Passau. On the comfortable shores and causeways along the river with changing views from the high mountains to the gentle hills. The whole bike path runs mainly on asphalt paths with a few small inclines and is marked throughout.

Kufstein - Kaindlhütte (takes about 2.5 hours, Distance: approximately 23 km, middle difficult)

From the „Kaiserlift“ you drive along the edge of the forest past the restaurant „Felsenkeller“ and the motorskills park. After about 2 kilometers turn left to the mountainbike track "Stadtberg 310“. Then it's a gravel road uphill to „Aschenbrenner“. Just below the „Aschenbrenner“ continue the panorama trail to „Brentenjoch“ with stunning views of the „Wilder Kaiser“. Straight downhill and then a longer rise to „Kaindlhütte“. Return as uphill or you take the way to „Duxeralm“ before „Brentenjoch“.

Mountain experience Aschingeralm (takes about 2 hours, Distance: approximately 14 km, middle difficult)

Start is in the center of Kufstein to the „Kaisertalaufstieg“. From there it goes along the main road, past the „Hödnerhof“ towards „Oberndorf“ and „Ebbs“. Turn left in the center of Ebbs at the dome, square right and then always follow the signs for „Aschinger Alm“. „Aschinger Alm“ offers itself as a resting place. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the „Wilder Kaiser“ and the fantastic view to the „Walchsee“. A visit at the cheese factory on the Aschinger Alm is worthwhile in any case.
