Bathing pleasures
Water games, lake romance & a bathing paradise
Refreshingly cool or pleasantly warm and wet, crystal clear water or healing water from Austria’s third most potent sulphur spring. This is what makes romance on the lake and a bathing paradise.
Big and small lakes present themselves in all their variety in our holiday region: naturally for swimmers and for those who want to relax on a deck chair or in a flower meadow, for those who want to row a boat or take a pedalo out on the lake. No concreted over and fenced off shore lines are allowed here, but unspoilt swimming fun from an informal lido or in a pleasant open air pool, or simply stroll along the lakeshores in the villages of the holiday region.
All the lakes are clear and pure and are an open invitation to leap into the refreshing water and to enjoy days of swimming in the Tyrol. But it is not only water babies who have a good time in our lakes but also to “cast a line” here is a popular and very promising leisure pastime.
