Anyone who thinks that cycling in the mountains is limited to mountain bikes and the ultra fit are wrong! The flat Inn valley has become the secret tip for cycling enthusiasts and particularly for families.
...There is something here for all cycling fans, whether leisurely cyclists, families or ambitious mountain bikers. “Mount your bikes” and ride over the most varied of terrain. Almost everywhere has access to the cycle path network, which runs along the Inn for part of the way.
The marked cycle path from Erl to Kufstein and Niederndorf to Bad Häring or Thiersee are over 200 km long. Which cyclist’s heart would not race?
Anyone with the urge to go higher on his or her bike will feel he is in seventh heaven in the holiday region Kufstein. For all those who would rather avoid surfaced roads with their bikes and for whom no mountain is too high, can take to the comprehensive network of paths for mountain bikers for a change and go on great tours into the Kaiser mountains or to the numerous mountain pastures of the “Zahmen Kaiser”. Pure nature is the call of the day – a bike journey of discovery in the glorious mountain world guarantees a new adventures lurking around every corner.

Start from the centre of Ebbs towards Kufstein, turn right at the Hotel Postwirt onto the Inn valley cycle path – towards Niederndorf to the power station (confluence with Jenbach stream) – along the Jenbach – cross the Wiblicher Strasse – Fohlenhof – turn left to the Raritäten zoo ( rare breeds zoo ) – straight on to Oberndorf – on the cycle path behind the “zur Schanz” inn to Kaisertalaufstieg –turn right to the Wiblicher Strasse – underpass Hödnerhof Flower World – Inn ferry Kiefersfelden – Inn valley cycle path – centre of Ebbs. |

Length: 3,5 km Duration: 30 min. Level of difficulty: easy
Starting point: information office, Erl, parish church of Saint Andreas, then turn right towards the swimming pool in the Unterweidau part of Erl, past the Riedl chapel to the Unterweidau crossroad. The turn left to the main road, to the “Beim Dresch” inn. From the Oberweidau area go on to the Winkl area till you reach the “Pfarrer-Hartmann”monument and on the Erlerbergstrasse, downhill to the parish church and back to the information office, Erl. |

From the town centre, ride up the right bank of the Inn till you reach the small pedestrian bridge in Endach, cross this and ride on through the residential areas of the Einfangstrasse and Siedlerweg. From the Siedlerweg turn left into the Klammstrasse, which leads into the Glemm. From the Glemm, go up to the main road (B 173). On the other side, take the Lochererweg straight on till you reach the “Tirolerhof” inn. At the cemetery you can go right, past the List monument. From the “Tirolerhof” go over the Trautweinstrasse and Pater-Stefanstrasse and its an easy ride back along the Inn to the town centre. |

From the centre, go past the parish church of St. Georg, north past the Hecherberg towards Erl. At the crossroad before the Inntal chapel, go along the path through meadows and fields towards the “Tiroler Hof” and then the Inn valley cycle path till you get to the Inn barrage. After the barrage, go along the Jenbachweg to the village. |

The tour starts in Kufstein Mitterndorf from where a forest track leads in a series of hairpin bends to the Stadtberg after approx. 1 hour 15 mins. ride. A stop at the Berghaus Aschenbrenner will reward you for making the climb. It is not only the culinary delicacies but also the wonderful views over the town of Kufstein that are so enticing. From here you proceed along the well surfaced Panorama path for approx. 25 – 30 minutes till you reach the Brentenjoch/Weinberghaus. Then the highlight is the descent via the Dux and Hinterdux (there is a stopover here) back into the town. |

From the centre Ebbs – Kaiserbergstrasse – towards Feldberg, turn off left to Aschinger Alm – Gasthof Zacherl – Berggasthof Kölnberg – Aschinger Alm – back to the Berggasthof Kölnberg – turn right at the chapel; towards Gasthof Lederer – towards Ebbs – left past the Mühltal dairy – Fohlenhof – centre of Ebbs. |

Initially the route is asphalted and leads over the scenic Erleberg through the Gaisgraben, then along through the beautiful Spadau – mountain pasture area finally to the strength-sapping climb up to the Kranzhornalm, where there are refreshments available. |
