Erl Tyrolean Festival

The Tyrolean festival under the direction of the internationally renowned conductor, Gustav Kuhn, associates great works of musical literature with the charm of a Tyrolean village and a small Tyrolean town.

“Erl” is the answer to the clue “Tyrolean Passion play venue with 3 letters” in any better crossword. But Erl is also the home of choice of the Salzburg born conductor, Gustav Kuhn.

“A new Bayreuth in the Inn valley” the journalists called it and were especially impressed with the acoustics of the 1500 seat Passionsspielhaus, built in 1959.
