Winter time... grey, foggy, miserable? - No way!
Crystal clear winter air, glistening powdery snow, snow-covered forests and the pulsing pearl of the Tyrol is the closest description.

As well as the fortress and the old town, Kufstein’s landmarks, there are idyllic winter landscapes to explore with snow shoes or romantic tobogganing by moonlight to enjoy proper mountain hut evening festivities.

The top ski resort “Skiwelt” is only 12km away. With 250 kilometres of pistes, 90 lifts and 70 mountain huts, this is the largest linked ski area in Austria.

The Wilder Kaiser and the Kitzbühel Alps, the Christkindlmarkt (Christmas market) in the fortress and the tile stove in the Auracher Löchl welcome our friends from far and near.
